Legacies
Legacies are essential for the survival and future work of the Trust.
Without any direct support from the States of Jersey, the Trust is wholly
dependant on rental income from its properties and income derived from
legacies made to the Trust. Legacies enable us to care for over 133 sites
throughout the island as well as campaign for the increased protection
of the island’s natural environment and historic buildings.
Even small legacies can make a substantial difference to the work of
the Trust and if you wish the money to be spent in a specific way then
you can let us know. Your legacy could help to;
Acquire an area of coastland
Acquire a historic building
Help towards maintaining and restoring the Trust’s historic sites
Help towards managing and improving the interpretation of the Trust’s
lands
Help the Trust manage its collection of artefacts.
If you would like to discuss leaving a legacy to the Trust and perhaps
see some of our ongoing projects, then please do contact the Trust’s
President, Mike Stentiford MBE, on
01534 861114.
