  How you can help us

With restricted finances and an increasing amount of land and buildings to care for the Trust is very much reliant on the help and generosity of its members. Supporting the work of the Trust can take many forms but all are essential if the Trust is going to be able to continue safeguarding the island’s heritage.

Perhaps one of the easiest ways to become actively involved in the work of the Trust is to become a Trust volunteer. There are a number of volunteering opportunities which range from practical conservation work to being one of our regular guides at either Le Moulin de Quétivel or Grève de Lecq Barracks.

Alternatively you may wish to support one of the Trust’s campaigns and by simply writing a brief letter or sending an e-mail, you can help give the campaign greater emphasis and validity.

Most importantly bequests and legacies form the lifeblood of the Trust and without such generosity the Trust would not be caring for over 1,000 vergees of land and 16 historic buildings. If you are able to support the Trust in this manner you can be assured that your money or property will play an essential and key role in the future heritage of the island.

Last but not least you can support the work of the Trust by placing a restrictive covenant on your property. This will allow you to retain ownership whilst giving you peace of mind that your property will be safeguarded against unsuitable development.
