HRH The Prince of Wales becomes Patron
of the National Trust for Jersey
Dated: 1 February 2007
The National Trust for Jersey is delighted to announce that HRH The Prince of Wales has kindly agreed to become Patron of the Trust from January 2007.
Given The Prince of Wales’ evident interest in safeguarding the natural and historic environment, the Trust enquired whether His Royal Highness would be willing to demonstrate his support for the recently launched Coastline Campaign by becoming the Trust’s Patron. His agreement to do so is a wonderful endorsement of the work and objectives of the Trust and we hope that with The Prince of Wales’s Patronage, we can further build upon the growing success of the Coastline Campaign and the Trust’s continued efforts to protect the Island’s historic buildings and natural environment.
Over the next five years we sincerely hope that there maybe an opportunity for the Prince of Wales to visit the Island and see the work of the Trust first hand. In the interim we are extremely grateful to His Royal Highness for his highly valued support.
For further information please feel free to contact the Office of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall or The National Trust for Jersey at The Elms.
