La Tour de Rozel, White Rock
TRINITY, donated 1998 by Miss D Foot
Painted white as a navigational aid on its seaward side, this rocky point has the local nick-name of White Rock, and is actually cut off as an islet by the rising tide. The land was the gift of Miss Dora Foot in 1998, and marks the end of a section of cliff path just above Rozel Bay. It was originally called La Tour Perrin, circa 1467-1625, after the first owners of Rosel Manor who may have had a watch tower on the site.
