Plémont
The lovely and popular bay Grève au Lançons (bay of sand-eels) is crowned with an unlovely blot - the post-war development of Parkins Holiday Camp, later expanded to become Pontins. It then fell into disuse before eventually being sold to a company who would like use the site for residential development. However, not surprisingly, there is a great deal of local opposition to the scheme, with public opinion calling for the restoration of the site to a natural state.
The National Trust for Jersey Coastline Campaign offers a once in a lifetime opportunity to redeem this headland
