Save To establish a campaign fund to acquire further areas of coastline for permanent preservation and public access


Restore To encourage flora and fauna through a programme of coastline management


Educate To bring to public attention the continuing threats to the natural beauty, wilderness and heritage of our coastline

  • To permanently safeguard for future generations the character of the Jersey coastline: forever for everyone.
  • To protect and encourage Jersey’s wildlife through appropriate management and conservation, for example, the restoration of maritime heathland.
  • To protect our coastal archaeology and carefully manage and maintain the Island’s built heritage.
  • We want to enhance public enjoyment of our
    coast and secure access through appropriate
    arrangements sensitive to the landscape.
  • We want to enhance our coastal landscapes
    throughthe removal of unnecessary or unsightly
    objects including refuse and redundant fencing.

Our pledge to Islanders

Any land acquired through the National Trust for Jersey Coastline Campaign will be treated as inalienable, thereby preventing the land from being mortgaged or sold at any time in the future.
